The Paradox of Intention | How To Be In The Flow

The Paradox of Intention | How To Be In The Flow | Vishen Lakhiani On Achieving Flow

Everyone without exception dreams of a happy life and a successful career and business. The science of success has been studied through centuries, and the discoveries are very elegant and simple.
Your life becomes happier when you are at a peak state of mind. This paramount state is determined by 2 things: being happy NOW and having a vision for the future. The perfect balance between the 2 creates the best probability for achieving happiness (isn’t it what we all strive for?)
There are often imbalances, however, and according to those, we can have 4 possible outcomes.
1. Negative Spiral. You are neither happy nor having a vision for the future. This state is called a negative spiral. Depression is the background (or the theme) of your life.
2. Current Reality. You are trapped in your current reality. You might manage to feel satisfied now, but you have no vision for the future. This is not a bad state, but you are not growing. Every human being has a spiritual need to grow and contribute.
3. Stress. You fall in the stress and anxiety trap. You have a great vision for the future, but you feel miserable in the now. Worries are overwhelming emotions. You are trying to figure out how the get where you want to be. Many entrepreneurs are in this situation.
4. Flow. You are in the ideal state of flow. You are happy now and have a vision for the future. Your happiness now has nothing to do with your goals being accomplished or not. Contradictory? Yes, I know, but this is the mastery!

The Paradox of Intention | 4 States Of Mind

The Paradox of Intention. Reaching the Goal by Letting Go the Attempt to Reach It

I have read about the paradox of intention. This is when you have goals, but at the same time your current state of happiness cannot be dependent on those goals. You must be happy beforehand. Just stop trying and it will do it itself. You have to know the existence of happiness (or the things you want to achieve) before you see it. Be the creator, the sculptor, immersed in the euphoria of bringing your piece of art to life.

Learn to be satisfied and fulfilled with the journey; NOT the end result. This way you are in the vortex where amazing things happen. Sometimes you might think that there is magic involved.

Here is the secret formula to success: thoughts and emotions combined create the message to the Universe. Thoughts are the vision while the future and the emotions are the current state of now. Hence the ultimate goal is to feel good.

Here is a poem from more than 100 years ago by the richest man in the world at that time, John D. Rockefeller, Jr.

My life has been one long, happy holiday–
Full of work, and full of play–
I dropped the worry on the way–
And God was good to me every day.

When you want to grow your business, you delve into books for personal growth. Only your mindset is going to bring your business forward.

Here are some practical and specific things to work on in order to help you get into the state of flow.
1. How do you get a vision for the future? Well, have a clear expectation of what you want to achieve. Think about specific results externally and internally. Explain it to yourself out loud. Make a list. Writing things down is a sign to the universe about what you want. When you are looking for something and are expecting it to happen, you tend to find it and create it!

2. In your current state of mind, remove all negativity. There are no limitations for someone who does not see them!!! Richard Branson, best known as the founder of Virgin Group, when asked about his biggest failure, said that he did not remember any. Maybe he had projects, challenges, but never failures.

How you can tell if you are doing the right things? Answer this question: What do you see in others? Usually what you perceive about yourself you project on others. So, are you surrounded with successful and happy people? Or the opposite (you describe it).

The difference between successful and people and non-successful people is their happiness in the now and big vision for the future.

Make a decision to be, feel and act as the Creator. Think about your dream lifestyle and the people to be surrounded with. Watch this life changing video to see how a homeless man risen from ashes to become a leader of more than 100,000 followers. To watch is free, but freedom is never free. It takes dedication, imagination and burning desire. Be blessed!

It took me a long time to find this system. It was the catalyst to my accepting my freedom to chose and start my new journey. I was skeptical first, because I resisted it. But it turned out to be my chance to empower my freedom within.

You share the most interesting topics with us Margarita!

I know for a fact that I’m happy. I have been for a very very very long time. I remember someone saying a long time ago to sit in a room with just you and nothing else. No TV, no book, no computer, no phone, no nothing and see if you can be happy with just being there by yourself. If you can then you’ve made it. If you can’t then you have a lot of work to do. I have no problem with this exercise at all.

I can visualize the short term future goals so is that still what they mean? I don’t know what I really want in the long run but I take it step by step because I know that things always change and evolve.

Enjoyed the video, you find the most interesting things to make us really think so thank you for that.

Yes, we have to always adjust our long term goals by constant adjusting. We have to keep moving because we cannot correct action that has not been taken.

Thank you for your comment!

Hi Debasmita, thank you for stopping by. I have been studying the key to success for some years now. Our conditioning is usually in the way. But we have the power to reprogram ourselves. Be well.
